Hi Guys,
I know this is the Road cycling forum, but I road ride with a hybrid (couldnt find a road bike small enough to fit me at the time).
I am thinking about making my first upgrade, which will be to lighter wheels.
I am currently running a set of Shimano RX05's and I'm thinking of purchasing a set of Novatec CXD's as my bike has disk brakes, my Shimano's weigh 2075g or 2165g (according to different sources) with a 24mm rim height, and the Novatec's weigh 1470g with a 23.4mm rim height. I will be running the same Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Folding tires
At around £350 do you more experienced people think I will notice the difference in the ride, response time, acceleration etc...
All help greatly appreciated.

You'll see some difference, but not perhaps as much as you might think.
I'd save some money and, if you really want lighter wheels, just get these: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/cosine-23mm-all ... -wheelset/My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
