Hi all,

Going on holiday this August to Majorca and staying in Cala D'or. I will be looking to do a couple of 6am rides near to our hotel. I know Sa Calobra etc are the other side of the island.

Can anyone recommended any roads/hills to hit, this end of the island?

Regards

Sant Salvador is a lovely climb, very much like a little alpine pass, and the views are fabulous.
Castell de Sautueri is not as interesting but still a challenge on a hot day. Both in the area.

    Thanks allot.

That will do for me. I'll most likely only ride on two of the days.

Ride to Petra, the main squares is a Mecca for cyclists all over the island. It's about 35km. Stop for a coffee, route yourself back via Sant Salvador.
If you want a coastal ride, go up the East coast not the South. Porto Cristo is nice and again 35km away, so an easy mornings ride. Again, if you want a hill, easy to route back via Sant Salvador. It's the best climb around for miles.
I stayed in Cala Barca last summer and ended up doing it 3 times in 6 days, most routes back from the centre or coast passed back near Felantix so it seemed rude not to.
