Shimano 105 STI shifter issue

Hi Everyone,
1st post and 1st quarter as a cyclist.
Quick question; when on the big chainring and trying to push hard I can hear a noise/vibration (when the foot push down) that disappear if I slightly push/hold the shifter. Does anyone have a solution?

Currently a proud owner of a Boardman SLS 9.0, bargain of the century $956AUD new in Sydney.

    Sounds like you may be getting some chain rub on the front derailleur cage and need a bit more tension in the FD cable? Easy to do if you have cable adjusters somewhere between the shifter and the mech, harder otherwise.
