I am a master student and writing my master thesis about extreme sport events and the motivation of the athletes to participate. You will help me a lot if you would take a few minutes and fill in this survey about your motivation to participate in mountain bike events.

    Most people ride for fun, not that many enter events - I gave up on page 1 as two many questions that weren't relevant to me.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    None of it was relevent to me. I ride a bicycle, I don't do extremme sports.

    But I do like being called an athlete.
    I don't do smileys.
