TdF 2016 St 16 *Definitely does not contain spoilers*
Another snooze fest of a stage with GC 'contenders' happy to cling on to the position they have and not wanting to rock the boat.

It's what everyone has said, at least since Indurain was patron.

So we need Quintana to do a kamakaze attack from 70km out? To be fair, Cuddles was seldom an attacking rider, but he defended with panache that year.0 -
Worst since 2012 unless something mega happens in the Alps.
The GC battle highlight in that was Chris Froome talking into his jersey.0 -

That's no real fault of Froome though. Thus far he's gained time by attacking on a downhill and in the cross-winds, both of which are gutsy moves. He was also gaining time on Ventoux before the farcical crash occurred. It's only boring because of the limp display of his rivals, yet there's a sense that people use the lack of action as an excuse to dig at Sky. I'm not sure Froome could really have done much more here as he's attached on the flat, on descents and on ascents.0
