Cycle to Work Question

Hi people,
I've decided to take the plunge and get a full suss machine through cycle2work but having put in the employer code cyclescheme are telling me that the employer are not accepting requests for new certificates.
Does this mean I can't use cycle to work even if they are registered?
TIA

Ask your employer - How we are meant to know what an unnamed employer is doing is beyond me.
But many employers only have short 'windows' for C2W applications (typically a month a year) as it reduces admin' costs, if that is the case your answer is No, you can still use cyclescheme but will have to wait for the next window.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Thanks Rook. I thought our c2w was all year round but I could be wrong.
Think I might have to phone the office and ask the question then! Typical though, now I got the green light from the Mrs...Bossnut - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13069531

C2W is not nearly as advantageous as it used to be. The savings are nowhere near what they were originally.
You may be better off finding a good deal in a sale with a retailer that offers 0% installment plans.“Life has been unfaithful

Well, i looked at our info and i should be bale to elect c2w whenever i want, yet the company aren't accepting new requests for certificates.
Will be phoning the bods in the office today to see if i can get some information on whats going on.
Managed to sell the idea to the Mrs as saving £320 on a £1000 bike makes good sense!
Now I've settled on the Bossnut, Go Outdoors don't do 0% finance. Might have to pop back to Certini at some point and have a word again if the c2w is a no-go.Bossnut - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=13069531

The best way to handle this is to tell her / him that the bike costs £500 and then you spend £1000 and then you don't tell her / him about the saving....take your pickelf on your holibobs....
