Hi All

I've been searching for ages and cant find much about removing Campagnolo BB86 press-fit cups. Is there a better tool out there to press the tool out, rather than something like the the rather brutal Park Tools BBT90.3 which relies on a hammer??

Thanks
Paul

Are you thinking that the press-fit process really forces them in, because it's more of a process which ensures they are straight as they go in, they rarely take much in the way of force on the way in and a few taps to get them out.

They're in with Loctite 641 (recommended grade) and no movement as yet. It's a very expensive frame so don't want to risk damage - and am gradually collecting all the right tools so may as well get the right tool for this job. Can't find anything other than the park tools one

No problem, so more inline with what you were specifically looking for see if you can find an Enduro Bearings BRT-003 tool, came back in a quick search and video of process pasted below...

I wouldn't have used loctite on them ever either, just put them in dry.

That's great thanks - I've ordered one of those now. It might need a old bearing to help install the cups and I may need to make an adapter to extract Campagnolo cups but that looks like it'll be a huge help. Im regretting the Loctite now anyway - now that I need to remove at least one of the cups
Anyway - job for when I get home now. Just about to start a Coast to Coast ride this morning (Lowestoft to St David's)
