New Garmin sensor compatibility question.

Much to your surprise I have a question regarding the compatibility of the new Garmin sensors.
I still have my faithful old retainer Garmin Edge 705.
Today my 'stable' has increased by one, and I'm just about to start cutting and re-tying cables ties for the mount, speed and cadence sensors, transferring them onto my new bike.
Somewhat annoyingly they'll be going back soon enough, as N+1 is more for the winter.
That is until I saw this:-

Begging the obvious question:-
Is all this easily transferable Garmin tech compatible with my old Garmin Edge 705?

It doesn't work with the 705 unfortunately. DC Rainmaker has a compatibility chart on his site.
