    Millar reckons on ITV (when Ned let him get a word in) that Bronchitis in riders is a common symptom of overtraining/too much racing. Perhaps he peaked for the Nationals...

    This sounds like it will be a 'long' rest

    Still suffering from a viral infection that explains his symptoms and his fatigue, Thibaut Pinot requires a long rest and will unfortunately not have recovered in time to participate in the Olympic games in Rio.

    My first guess was mononucleosis. No idea how close that'll be.
