any opinions on Ridleys?
My first bike was a Fuji I got for just over 1K usd with shimano tiagra components. Loved it and had no complaints other than I probably didn't 'fit' the bike frame - I would get numb hands on rides over 20 miles. Someone told me I was probably leaning too far forward and putting too much pressure on my hands.

The replacement / upgrade I'm looking at is the Ridley x-trail c10. (specs below)
I'm particularly excited about the carbon frame, ultegra drivetrain and the thru axle (hydraulic brakes are kinda cool but I'm not sure about the performance although reviews have been good.

The bike is beautiful and when I tested rode it, it felt very comfortable.
I'll immediately replace the stock tires with 28mm gator skins and maybe the saddle.
Other than that I like it just as it is.
the price is $2,640 usd.
As this is my second bike purchase as an adult I'm looking for any feedback pro or con on the brand and set-up vs cost.

thanks in advance.
