smaller saddle - frog bike

Just got the frog bike 43 for my lad. He's "just" a bit too small for it - only reaches the ground on his tippy toes. I think that a thinner saddle (the Frog one is quite chunky) might give him an extra cm or 2 of reach - anyone done this or got any tips?

The Isla Bike sadde his sister has looks a lot thinner and a bit lower....

Thanks dude, I'll have a look. He's only 3, but saw the bike, has fallen in love with it and can pretty much ride it, but can't quite get his feet down. Either he grows, I get a saddle that allows him to do so (maybe thinner tyres too!) or I'm going to have shredded nerves catching him every time....
