Is there a way to download a route created in Strava wirelessly to the Edge 1000?

I know I can save it as a gpx to the PC then copy the file to the Edge via the data cable but given that my phone is connected to the Edge I'm hoping there's some clever interface that does it all for you?

Thanks

The only way to get routes to the Edge wirelessly is to create the routes in or otherwise get the routes the routes in Garmin Connect I think. It is probably quicker to just plug the unit into your computer and do it that way.

If you have a Premium account with Ride with GPS, one of the benefits is the ability to send a route to the device.
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.

Too right, anything involving the Garmin Connect site is just too painful to contemplate

Sounds ideal, unfortunately though our club rides are created in Strava and doubt I could convince everyone to jump ship for my own convenience :(

I'll stick it as a suggestion on the Strava forum though as it might even convince me to upgrade to Premium if it was an option
