Hi all,
I have just bought a Cannondale si chainset with opi spidering. It came with a bag of bits for the bb30. I am presently running the FSA gossamer chainset that came with the bike which is a 2013 standard Supersix. (not evo/hi mod).
The FSA bb30 consists of 2x circlips, bearings, thin seals. and on the non drive side wavy washer and locking bolt.
The new bag of bits has all of these, but also a pair of black pressfit cups. From one diagram i found online it looks like the bearings should sit inside the cup then covered by a snazzy bearing shield with Si stamped on it. I am guessing if these are used then no cirlips? Also included are 3x spacers/washers? 2.5mm,2.6mm and7.5mm. I have seen another diagram showing these being used on the driveside along with the wavy washer, which is opposite to where it is now.
Does anyone know which would be right for my supersix? I am totally bamboozled!! As per usual no instructions came with the chainset, and searches online are confusing things even more. Any help or links to show me the correct way to proceed would be appreciated.

Garry.

Looking here - http://www.cannondalespares.com/exploded_diagrams might help.

See if you find what is closest to what you have. I got replacement parts from here for my bike, but I wasn't fitting a new crank, just replacing bearings with the same.

Thanks Mike for that. It shows diagrams for using the container cups, and also a diagram for using circlips. Both under Cannondale supersix. Maybe I can use either?

the cups are most likely for if you have a pressfit 30 (the BB30 bearings would go in there with no circlip)

if you have BB30 (aluminium shell with two small grooves about 8mm inside each side) the circlips go in then each bearing is pressed in.

the wavy washer goes on the LHS crank

Thanks yes think since it is set up with circlips at the moment this would probably be the way to go. Just got a bit confused with all the different bits included. Yes wavy washer on non drive side. Thanks for your help.
