Morning all,
Traditional mild Thursday hangover is here so I'm fighting it off with tea. Quieter start to my day than yesterday, this is good as yesterday was chaotic. Got my new phone last night, but as I was in the pub I couldn't so anything with it so will have a play with it later. That's about as exciting as life gets today.
Onwards, to mediocrity...

My mate stacked it in the car park last night on his mtb, playing with his dropper and he grabbed a handful of break my accident, solid face plant. Amusing image for you all tho!

Slow day today so far. It should not be as I depart for France tomorrow for a week on the Bike in the mountains. Trying to tie up lose ends at work. But the internets keeps drawing me in.

    Excited though!!!

Another good pedal in despite the Met Office getting it wrong again...it should be busier than this as we're doing our quarterly reporting but as the accountants haven't pulled their finger out yet we're waiting for them while doing some real work. Ho hum.

On the bright side I amassed a dossier of evidence to show my CFO that I am underpaid and HR have now been commanded to get on and look at it :) Fingers crossed....

Was planning a big (for me at least) week on the bike which started off ok, 50km and 35km on Monday & Tuesday, rest day/site meeting on Wednedsday and now the rest of the week looks like a wash out.

    Bah...

Almost the entire day spent in the garage, due to lousy weather, and an attack of procrastination over the real jobs that need doing round the house. Emptied the tool chests and tidied up big time.

I now need at least three new frames to use up the parts I discovered in the drawers. Not sure why I have accumulated 7 spare headsets, 4 BB's, half a dozen stems, several seat posts, handlebars, a few spare shifters and derailleurs, lots of chains, a couple of chainsets, and more, but clearly no point in leaving them in the drawers.

Fleabay and other browsing in earnest looking for candidates.

fairly uneventful day here, actually you have no way of knowing so i'll say it was a day full of events!

Managed to get home in just over 3 hrs so I could attend a parents meeting at the eldest rugrats new secondary school

You should have said, I could have helped you miss the parents meeting. Mind you Hayes may only be a few miles away but it can take some time to get there.
