Mixing old and new Garmin sensors
I have two bikes both with old-style sensors on them, but recently picked up a new type speed sensor.
I always break the stupid reed things on the speed sensor part so was hoping to just use the cadence part along with the new style speed sensor.
Is this likely to work - connecting to two sensors?
I use a Garmin 500.

Well - on the face of it - both of the sensors should pair (according to https://www.thisisant.com/directory/edge-500/ ) but I think using a speed sensor and a speed/cadence sensor at the same time seems less likely to work.0

either you tell it you're using speed/cadence or speed & cadence ...0 -
think that's why they introduced the 2 separate speed and then cadence sensors.0
