As is the fashion I feel my time has come to step down from this position and let new blood steer the ship.
Quite what role and ship I'm taking about I''m not sure.
Anyhoos as part of my retirement I'm starting as I mean to go on and am off out in my regular morning loop. See you in about 90 minutes.

that's right, lead us into a mess then feck off!
Morning
Working from home and already getting frustrated (hence posting on here)! Bright side, no commute so I get to see the kids & won't miss the architect who is coming over later0 -
Morning,
managed to ride in this morning for the first time in ages, I really struggle with getting up 40 minutes earlier. It's only a 17km commute but just I love sleeping too much
Trying to decide which way to ride home, one route is 17km and the other is 95km...0 -
I wonder what Charlotte Church will have to say about HD stepping down, I did like her tweet about Farage. Or as I heard him described by some American woman "the insufferable frog mouthed w@nker"
Pleasant enough wobble in to work, even though I was still half asleep. Not much going on around here, currently laughing at how incompetent some people are and amazed that not only do they survive but they seem to do quite well. I must try not to laugh at them quite so openly as they seem to get offended.0 -
Lousy night's sleep. Wet morning, but cleared up to a lovely afternoon. Tossed out a pile of old clothes. Fettled bikes, swapped gears and brakes over from one to another, now just have to bleed the disc brakes and bike #7 is ready to roll again.
May go walking later this evening, but feeling a bit manflu so may not. Hope my lottery numbers come up tonight...Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

Please don't tell anyone, I've got a good thing going here...0 -
Will there now be a leadership battle full of intrigue, dirty deals and back stabbing?
Me late me. Faaaaark.

Half man half settee, man flu since Saturday night. Thought it was on its way out as the sore throat subsided, now chesty phlegm and headache and 2 lychees for eyeballs. Drifting in and out of sleep watching NRL rugby league waiting for TDF to start! rather be better and able do the 12 mile each way rural commute to a station and get to work.0

The pedal in this morning was needed to wake me up after last nights cider and wine. The bl00dy Met Office got it wrong for the third time in less than 2 weeks by telling me there would be no rain in the morning. Incompetence gets worse. Apparently the problem isn't that nitrogen is hazardous due to being explosive as we were told yesterday, it's because people can suffocate if it leaks.
Someone needs to learn to stop digging when called out for bullshitting. I'm still laughing.0 -

Man flu is a terrible thing. When will women understand?
Burning horse manure is good for the sinuses (apparently).

Went up to Foia today, car not bike after lunch in Monchique, tranquil, maybe that was the alcohol

That's a better view than from my pit or settee.
