I like to ride at dark time in a different areas (city, highway, forest...) and had tested a few different types of flashlights and bicycle headlights. Eventually I made my own custom headlight with high and low beams. Surely it is not perfect, but much more better then most bikers have.
All of the tested flashlights can be separated for two groups: zoomable with lens and nonzoom with reflector. My conclusion is - zoomies are the worst choice to use as a headlight. But pretty often I still meet a riders with that kind of torches.

Recently I made a video test with comparing of lens flashlight with my custom headlight:

Hope you enjoyed it.
And what kind of light are you using on your bike?
Or what is the best headlight you've ever seen?

Sorry, it's just really boring. If someone were interested in a new bike light, they would watch the whole thing
