Garmin Edge 1000 - rattling

has anyone else had a problem with their Garmin Edge 1000 rattling on uneven roads?

I had one that needed to be returned for repair (unrelated issue) which developed a rattle after about 9 months and now the new one i was sent has the same problem but after only about 3 months. Sounds like something is loose inside.

has anyone else had this?

    It might be the 2 buttons - mine rattle. Try resting your finger on them when you hear the noise.

    It was coming from the top i, perhaps unadvisedly, unscrewed it, found the rattling part and put a put of tape on it which seems to have done the trick with no adverse side effects!
