Hello!
I am looking for advice on what to do with a tyre with a pass through slash the size of 1/3 of an inch.
I happen to notice the cut when a couple of ours after I came back from my ride the innertube blew up. I am afraid that just repairing the tube will not be enough and the high air pressure could cause again the tube to blow.Am I right? Can I fix it in some way?

Thanks a lot

    Buy a new tyre.

If the tyre has done a decent mileage I'd just replace it.

I had a sidewall cut in a brand new tyre last week :( so I bought a replacement but I'm also experimenting with a repair to the damaged one involving super glue and a stiff fabric patch on the inside of the tyre.

    They are brand new :D

Had just 130miles on them...I am a bit annoyed, but I guess I don't wanna regret riding unsafe equipment...
