Folding tyres often use the better compounds, and are lighter.
For red walls try Panaracer Fire XC Pro.I don't do smileys.

Thanks for that found some Panaracer fire XC Pro
Am I correct in thinking that 2.11 in my tyre sizing refers to the tyre dimensions eg the width of the tread area as a lot of tyres seem to state :- 1.8 - 2.35

Yep, although I think the ads might actually say that if there is a choice. the tyres themselves will be one size.

The tyre width refers to the carcass of the tyre, the tread knobs will stick out a bit further.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
