    Morning all,

Start my new job today, after having 4 weeks off (gardening leave) I'm ready to start back at work.

    Although I haven't a bloody clue what I'm doing!

Needed more sleep, but body clock was set wrong

Working from home today with not much planned later - so the rain is a pain as apparently the lawn needs cutting

  • Morning all - off to a site to have an arguement with the Highways Authority, a more blinkered group of people you'll never find. Forehead will be red raw from banging it against a brick wall. Been to the gym to get myself "pumped up" for the occaision.

Still hacked off I only went for Iceland to qualify for the next round at 4/1 rather than the 9/1 on offer for doing it in ninty minutes.

A night off from the football beckons... mmm what to do?

The consolation of last nights result is that I won't have a hangover next Monday.

Not sure what today has got in store but I'm attracting more work than I can shift this week, this evening will be some sanding, filling, sanding and decorating follwed by an airport run at 11pm.

I tried sitting on a piece of tin foil this morning, it didn't work. Well, the sitting bit did but I couldn't see what I was supposed to see. I'll see if I can find some crinkly cardboard for a second attempt.

Were they telling those dirty foreigners to go home?
    Morning all,
No rain here yet, but they say it will be raining for the ride home later. Deep joy. Struggling with motivation at the moment, just feeling tired and fed up. I need a holiday. Just got to get through the next month without murderising anyone.

Fruit of my labours is beginning get to ripen.

A fast and furious bike ride is planned before the rain starts.

Later is cooking a bolognese sauce from scratch .

After a week away with work and a day off yesterday it's back to staring at a screen for 8 hrs a day, and occasionally typing something. May need an evening ride to keep me away from news sources for a few hours. No rain in my corner of Hampshire yet.

I was similar to this a few weeks ago and then got a new 'smart' turbo trainer and zwift, it has really got me back motivated both indoors and out. Zwift is really good for the wet and windy days and having a more enjoyable option than a basic turbo session for the days that going outside is less than fun really helps.

No rain here yet but the weather app is saying it'll start about 3 and then rain forever! fun times!

HD is right, but the clouds are heading this way. It hasn't started raining yet but the clouds are heading this way so I expect it to start raining in about 20 minutes. Just as I leave :-/

    Ciao

Still celebrating yesterday's results but loooong day at work and back in later tonight with no fixed finish time before 6 am start tomorrow for another day with no fixed finish time before being sent away for days with no fixed finish time.

Apart from that, got some new jeffy Hi Tec trainers from the store man to pad about in so well happy innit. Naturally they will not go near my feet if I am doing anything sport related but for cruising around saves me wearing out my own trainers.

    Ciao

Looks like I might get a bit soggy cycling home. Still there's a couple of bottles of Kopparberg in the fridge to give me some added incentive to pedal harder.

More Brexity fun at work today interspersed with some real work.

Yep, started raining just before I left. Not too bad though and a fairly easy pedal home.

You must have caught the edge of it. Pretty soggy in the middle.

I got soaked, it was p1ssing it down all the way from Central London till I got to East Dulwich. Pedalling harder helped warm up the puddles of water in my trainers.
