Replacing a wrecked CAAD10

Hi everyone,

My CAAD10 Ultegra was recently wrecked in an accident.

I'm considering replacement options if repair isn't possible.

I love how rigid the CAAD is, and how well it handles. I wish I could have more of this! I love to go fast - comfort is my lowest priority.

This is what I'm considering looking at right now:
-CAAD12 or a Supersix Evo
-BMC or Cervelo equivalents. Any generalizations on how they ride? My LBS won't let anyone test ride either, so I'd have to travel to another dealer for a ride. I won't bother if enough people feel these wouldn't deliver the characteristics I'm looking for.
-Aero bikes - I've heard they may not handle as well as what I'm used to. True?

Thanks for any input. I know this is a pretty broad net, but any advice related to this would be truly helpful. Thank you!

    I have a CAAD10 for winter
I also had a SuperSix for summer.
I recently replaced the Supersix with a CAAD12.

    If you liked the CAAD10, buy a CAAD12 - it's better.

CAAD12 or a SuperSix Evo seems like the obvious choices. There are some good deals to be had on the Evos so I would keep an eye out.

Is the CAAD12 frame different/better than the Supersix frame currently?

You won't know how good/bad other bikes are unless you ride them. Any shop that doesn't give the option to test-ride a bike they are selling is one that I'd hesitate to use - you need to find another LBS mate ;)

CAAD 12 won the last Bike of the Year. Seems a no brainer since you liked the CAAD 10 so much

It's different, but I will try to refrain from saying "it's better" since people will define that in different ways.
I had a Supersix for a couple of years, i switched it for a CAAD12 a few months ago and do not regret my choice.

Appreciate it everyone, I will start looking at CAAD12's then! Sounds like the smartest choice.
