So Im doing the southdowns again. I said after last time I would never do it again, but like a junky Im back.
Was just wondering if anybody had done any route recently and could tell me what the condition of the route was like. Im anticipating lots of mud and water after our recent spell of weather.

It'll change constantly. But yes, the exposed bits will be shit right now. Half claggy, half slippery. Enjoy.0

Just back from a little jaunt up on the SDW and yes it was a little slippy on the chalk and flint in places. Drying out fast with the wind in the more exposed areas, but anywhere still under trees was a bit soggy.0
