Ever since I swung my leg over the top tube of my current road bike I knew I'd hanker for something better.
A trip to the local bike shop yesterday and...
I also managed to lay my hands on a few choice parts such as
This
This
And these
The big bit is in Europe somewhere and some other parts should be on their way from a mill not too far away from me.
Pics as we progress.

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the tricolore is parallel to the lettering on one box and perpendicular on the other?

Ran into some problems, I forgot to get some rim tape and I'm struggling with the brakes. I cannot find an adapter to fit. All I need is a 140 to 160 post to post. In effect a +20mm but nobody seems to make one.Advocate of disc brakes.0

I've got a box full of the damned adaptors having tried fitting various combos of brakes to lotsa different forks... so I knew where to look.. lol
I think they should work fine - only niggle is whether the calliper fouls the bracket, but I've generally found that you can make them work with a couple of spacer washers if absolutely necessary.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

Ignore the XTR bit... this one is for front forks.
This one's defined as a rear post-post one, to use a 20mm bigger rotor than the mounts are designed for.
