I like the way that Rossetto keeps cropping up in races. He is like an amateur in the pro ranks if that makes sense. He was only taken on by Cofidis last year at 28 years old and was really just riding French cup races at continental level before that. He seems to get into some good moves and is consistent. Cofidis sent him to the Vuelta last year and he was in a top 20 position when he DNF'd due toa crash on an ascent ?? with Corteille (fdj)
Hope he make s the Tour team - he must do.

Things have certainly warmed up now.
35kms to go and attacks are going in all over the course."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
What was that about Bouhanni? Did he get the kicking he deserved in the hotel last night?0
-
Slightly better route that the UK champs.0

Big move by Allaphillippe chasing after the front group and now Bardet having a go too.0

Alaphilippe engages warp drive. Bardet trying to Klingon."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

The strength in depth in this race is incredible. Loads of riders who this sort of terrain suits down to the ground. Gallopin or Alaphillipe for me.0
-
Vichot takes it from Gallopin and Guillermoz.0

Excellent last 40kms or so."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

I like how they organised it to finish early so people could watch the football, and by the time they tuned in France were 1-0 down!0
-
Bouhanni needs to go back to the sport of boxing. Clown!0
-
6 hours 13 minutes! ?
many others circa 4 .300 -
Liked Ned Boulting's comment that this race was like watching a breakaway full of all the usual breakaway riders chasing a breakaway full of all the usual.....0
