Tektro Spyre Creaking Sound

Mechanical disc brakes. About a year old and used in all conditions but the front brake caliper has developed a creaking sound when applied even slightly. The brake works fine. I haven't had the chance to take a good look at it yet but wondered if anyone else has come across this with their mech disc brakes and what they found was the issue.

    Does it do it even when stopped? Mine developed a loud clicking that you could feel through the lever when riding in poor weather due to gravel getting caught in the mechanism, gave them a bit of a clean out and they are fine now. Might not be any help but just a thought

    Yeah it does it whenever the brake lever is pulled. I have seen the guide on here in relation to stripping and servicing these brakes and might give that a go
