Good day everyone,

I am looking for a new handlebar and stumbled upon this 2016 Easton EC70.
As you can see in the photo below, it has a flattened top profile with internal cable routing and I think it looks great (It's about 200$). As far as I know, Easton are a serious company with quality products.

The thing is that there are no reviews (written or video) of this handlebar anywhere online.
If there are, they are scarce.

It's not sold on chainreactioncycles.com, only on Bike24.com.

What am I'm missing here? :?:

Notice Easton products often go under the radar... no pun intended. I haven't seen any reviews of their kit since around 2014 on the web.

Weirdly the best bars I had for a while were Easton on my old BMC streetracer. now got Zipp Sl-70s though...

I have Easton EC90 SLX (non-aero) bars since 2010. They are great at reducing road buzz, very light and a good shape, fitted to a EC70 stem. I also have Easton Monkeybars on my mtb that were bought new in 2003 and still going strong. My roadbike has Easton EA90 SLX wheels, bought new in 2008 and with many '000s of rough miles on them, and still as true as the day I bought them.
As others have said, their products often scoot under the radar but I have found them to be long-lasting and very well made. Incidentally I also have an EC70 seatpost on my roadbike and the mtb is a 2001 model Kona King Kikapu, made from Easton Ultralite tubing, bought new in 2003.
I have no connection to Easton, other than liking their kit over more than a decade's use.

Not sure what there is to review. It's a carbon bar with aero / flat tops and made by a reputable company. You either want one or you don't. There's your review. You can find hundreds pretty much just like it.

That's probably very true. So long as it doesn't break - what is there to say ?

"awesome. Turns the bike the right direction"

I think they are new. They are the same as the EC90 but slightly heavier and the EC90 was recently listed in shops as available for pre order, so I guess no one has had chance to review them yet.
