Hello there.

Is there any part of this hub that can be upgraded? I noticed some damage on my right side cone, and I noticed that my brothers 785hub has a louder freehub. I know the 785 uses CL, and alloy axle, but is the free hub better than my older 756? I think they're not interchangeable. I have two pawls, and they are barelly audible, but the engagement is so far so good. 785 has pawls at 10° angle. Dunno about mine, or the difference it makes.

Are there any not to expensive hubs that would fit my wheel and spoke lenght, but that are better, lighter, with better engagement?
sram X9 maybe? cartridge bearings and lighter..
thanks in advance

easy option is buy a new M756 rear hub, swap out the freehub, axle and bearings to your existing setup
