I am currently running Giant p-xc2 29er wheels on my Giant XTC Advanced, with
Tubeless Bontrager XR3 Team Issue Tyre's. They have a 15mm through axel on the front and 135QR on the rear 10speed. Looking for advice on upgrading to a lighter wheelset for racing, preferably built, I weigh around 84 kg

Depends on your budget, and how much your current wheels weigh.I don't do smileys.

About £500 including discs and cassette, current wheels are over 2000g0

Crests on Hope hubs would be the go to option.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Best upgrade I made was crest hope. They really do make a difference. For what it's worth xr3 will mount easily if you go tubeless0

Ordered the crests today, will hopefully run an xr1 rear and xr2 front for the summer races0

Was going to suggest my carbon DT swiss exc 1550s which weigh just that 1550 grams and cone with all adaptors. Etc
I'm only looking for £500 as £544 on ebay now.
They are mint condition and absolutely shift power so quickly.
A great 240s hub set too with aer bladed spokes.0
