Does this bike exist?

Thinking of a high performance bad weather bike, but does one exist which has the following (Or happy to build it up myself);
1) disc brake (I believe hydraulic is better but have no personal experience)
2) "sealed" BB e.g. Hollowtech II
3) ideally OEM Shimano groupset (just so cost effective, easy to service, accurate) - probably Ultegra
4) good quality, stiff carbon fibre frame. My best bike is a cannondale hi-mod CF frame, so this needs to be high quality to feel similar. Probably endurance rather than race geometry
5) never use mudguards, so eyelets not important
Notes on the above:
1) discs - this is a bit of a whim - I ride in a very hilly area and just feel on today's roads, in the wet, discs may be a good investment
2) sealed/internal BB - isn't essential as I have run my BB30 bike through two winter/summer cycles now without a hint of a problem, but I feel a "Winter bike" would sensibly have Hollowtech + shimano OEM crankset
4) frame - after riding a cannondale hi-mod frame which handles incredibly well, I think I'd find it hard to go to a poor CF frame, so I guess this is important to me
So, does such a bike exist, or can you suggest a frame as a starting point so I can configure and build the rest myself?

There's loads like that. Have you tried looking?0

That's the kind of reply I'd type... d'oh!
Yes, honestly I have - been to three LBS's but nothing fit the bill.
And as for frames, I don't know what is considered good quality from other manufacturers.0 -
Go Caad 10 or 12 disc with rotor bb30 to 24 mod0

New Canyon Endurace SLX?
https://www.canyon.com/en-gb/road/endurace/
Not cheap at £3k for the bottom model (still Ultegra and very good wheels) but seems to tick all of your boxes - endurance geo with a performance side, discs, good carbon frame - tweaked version of Ultimate SLX.
Only downside (on top of possibly the price) is that it's brand new with only reviews to go on....and you can't try before you buy0 -
Pinarello Dogma F8 Disc. Comes as a frame set so spec any brakes/groupset/wheels etc that you want and it has an Italian threaded bottom bracket so no dodgy push fit bearings to muck about with.
You didn't mention price0 -
Budget essentially no object, but at the sme time I'm not into throwing cash at a project just in the name of vanity...0

The New Focus http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/pro ... ane-232309
Or The new BMC RoadMachine http://www.bmc-switzerland.com/int-en/roadmachine/
Personally speaking it would be the Focus Izalco Max Red http://www.focus-bikes.com/gb/en/bikes/ ... c-red.html
Regarding a the BB I have got a bike that came standard BB30 but they used a Praxis converter and it has been brilliant no agro in 3000+mile and all the way through winter0 -
Or wait a few weeks and get a Supersix Hi-Mod Disc0
-
If you're not a brand tart then how about the Planet X RT-80 Disc. Rated 9/10 in a recent Cycling Weekly review
http://www.planetx.co.uk/news/products/ ... y-magazine
You can have an SRAM Rival 11-speed version with hydraulic discs for £1200
http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXRTD80/ ... -road-bike
or simply buy a frameset for £550 and build what you want
http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FRPXRTD80/ ... d-frameset
Standard BSA threaded BB as required0 -
Felt Z3 disc Ultegra - although FSA BB30
Eddy Merckx Mourenx69 disk Ultegra - although Shimano BB0 -
Maybe not a helpful comment but, no mudguards really? If this is only bad weather then why not? Is it just the worry about weight or the reduction in options with the frame?0

I have just never used them as both the bikes I have had didn't have eyelets and the design made even SKS Raceblades etc very awkward, so I gave up a few years ago and have just never used them since. It's not been a noticeable problem.
Thanks for all the suggestions thus far - am working my way through them!0 -
PS I discovered the Cube Agree 62 disc last night which seems to fit the bill too
http://www.cube.eu/uk/products/road-rac ... hred-2016/
Is there anything particular to say about Cube's frames? Are they going to be significantly inferior to my cannonade hi-mod frame... Or have things caught up these days?0 -
trek Domane Disc with the screw in m-guard mounts (check they are on the front fork). You have the summer/winter option and the decoupler0
-
There are loads and loads and loads of disc bikes with more coming out all the time.
The BB will be the biggest stumbling block.
The Cube looks loverly.0 -
Cervelo R3 disc is probably closest to fitting the bill. Go with Shimano or SRAM hydraulics and a Praxis converter and you have a bike to the spec you described.
Cervelo C5 - new, bit of a wait probably, endurance (-ish) geometry.
Mate of mine has the Focus and uses it for all his riding.
Giant Defy series are all disc now, I think. Defy Advanced SL 0 is a nice bike.
Or go Ti and get an Enigma Evoke disc. I use the Excel (rim brake) as my winter bike.0 -
Re mudguards, these are very good for half decent protection http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... eblade-pro
Not as good as full, but so easy to take off and put on - I gave up with full mudguards on my Spesh Roubaix disc, the fittings were poor and kept breaking, so these were a good compromise.0 -
What I found was that the relaxed geometry bikes were all a bit weighty. Also switching between a Supersix @ 7.2k and a 8.5kg disc brake bike makes the Six feel fantastic!
I couldn't go through winter without mudguards so bought a GT Grade Disc brake, wished I had waited 9 months as there are more racey bikes coming out that take guards. I love the Hydro Discs so much I will probably get a race bike disc brake and sell the supersix.0 -

Canyon I quoted above comes in at 7.3kg if you go with one of the DA models or 7.4kg Ultegra.0 -
