I have a 2015 Specialized Diverge Comp DSW that has AXIS 3.0 Disc SCS wheels. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to switch my drivetrain to SRAM 1x11. It currently has a Shimano 11 speed cassette (11-32) but I want to switch to SRAM (10-42). I can't find any information on these wheels or the hubs to try to determine if the SRAM 11 speed cassette will fit and if not what I would need to do to make the switch.

Shimano and sram cassettes have identical splines so are interchangeable

Not for 10-42 SRAM though. That needs an XD freehub. Can't find any decent info on the hubs either I'm afraid so cannot help there.

Pretty sure that some are compatible with non XD hubs, but am happy to be corrected.

Yes I think you are right, the 11-42 are, just not the 10-42.

I want to switch the the 10-42 since I'm changing out the 2x in the front and I'll have a smaller chainring than the largest one that is on there currently.

Not a straight swap then. Not really that much difference between 10 or 11 though...
