Fixed gear chain tugs for forward facing dropouts (2016 Genesis Flyer)

Hi all, new member here

I recently bought a 2016 Genesis Flyer. It's my first fixed gear bike and I'm very happy with it.

It has old style forward facing horizontal drop-outs (http://www.genesisbikes.co.uk/img/uploads/images/features/jpeg/flyer_lifestyle-1.jpg).

At the rear of each drop out is a drilled hole, very narrow (3mm??), which looks like it is designed to accept some kind of chain tug. But, the standard kind of chain tug used for rear facing dropouts won't fit (bolt too fat, for a start). I have tried asking my LBS (they don't know) and contacting Genesis (no reply GRRR). Can anybody suggest what would fit?

Thanks

Seems odd as the 2015 model appears to have the conventional horizontal rear facing drop outs

Can't think why they would change the frame design to forward facing drop outs on a dedicated single speed bike.

You can get chain tugs that don't rely on the frame being pre-drilled

I'm new to this stuff but I think it the logic was to make wheel removal easier without removing mudguards?

    Thanks for the link.

Yes I used that On-One tug on my old Raleigh, I had to take a file to the frame to give it a flat back edge, plus a little bit of grinding on the tug body itself to give it clearance where the seat stay was welded to the dropout.

Worked a treat. Make sure you get the right one as there is one for a quick release axle and one for a solid axle.
