Hi all. We're doing our 2nd Audax this weekend (Fairies Half-Flat 200) in Kent. How does one attach the laminated directions to ones handlebars? I'm going to buy an A5 clipboard, and how should I fix it to the bike? Other suggestions please?!! I don't want to buy one for £20 off eBay!

3 cable ties is the usual. 1 around the stem and 2 around the bars.
So you will punch 6 holes into your clipboard and thread the ties through that.
If you want to save the cost of the clipboard, find a bit of the stuff they make estate agents boards from (correx) and cut that out to size and then a bulldog clip to hold the route sheet down (and do not forget to put it in a clear plastic bag!).
Hope that helps and hope you enjoy it!0 -

Maybe use those stiff plastic wallets with a stud/popper that you can get in Smiths etc.?
For anyone using foldable routesheet this describes how to make one using the plastic case SRAM chains are sold in: http://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?t=21453Aspire not to have more, but to be more.0
