I got myself a BMC SLR03 2015 model for a ridiculous clearance price. It has 5700 shifters, 4600 everything else. The TCR stays, this is my "other" bike, for whatever type of riding the TCR is less suited for (kit colour, most likely).

I haven't been out on it yet, but I have changed the horrible faux leather tape for white cork, have mounted pedals and some white bottle cages. I'll write a review on my site if I ever get time and/or motivation. Both at the same time is rare.

The wallpaper and shîtty laminate flooring is shameful, I know. But my entire flat is shîtty.

    What does that mean? Is that a good thing?

    The other side of the room has skirting boards. They too are absolutely awful.

    Skirting should be proportional to the ceiling height, therefor you live in a hobit hole.

    But have a nice bike so all is forgiven.

    Thank you. The flat is rented, so the crappy skirting isn't my fault. I plan to move soon anyway.

    You know what's weird, I was looking at buying this exact bike, and I have the same TCR as you.....spooky.

    Haha! Quite spooky. I think it complements the TCR quite well. I've never had such a colourful bike before. This year's Sora SLR03 is definitely more my colour, but I still like the red. I hope to get out a test ride soon. I can't wait to see how it compares to the Giant.

    Nice Timemachine. BMCs seem to be a minority on this board.
