Moving up from Allez Sport - suggestions?

Hi, I bought an Allez Sport last year and have really enjoyed swapping from MTB to road. I've just become eligible for C2W and would like to upgrade and get another bike (keeping the Allez for winter).
Budget is up to £1300. C2W is through 'cyclesheme.co.uk', so Boardman's are out.
I ride 20 miles 3/4 times a week, with a 40 mile ride at the weekend. I'm not fussed about racing, but want something that's fast and fun, but still comfortable('ish), and be a different enough to the Allez to justify having 2 bikes.
