32mm tyres that actually measure 32mm

I have a Giant Defy Advanced 2 with disc brakes, I have measured the wheel clearance at the rear at 36mm, I bought some Vittoria Hypers in 32mm and have been disappointed to find that they inflate to 35mm on my Prolite Revo (622x19). Obviously the clearance each side is not enough so now I have to reconsider what will actually fit.
I would still like to max out the tyre size by fitting a 32mm, but now need a tyre similar to the Hyper (120tpi/350grams) which sizes up correctly on these rims.
Any ideas?

Most 32's will do that with the Revo because the Revo is a wide rim.

How about Schwalbe S-One (30c). Go tubeless.

challange strada Bianca on a 20mm internal width rim is 31mm for a 30mm tyre. Also the best of the wide tyres I have tried. It is a gravel racing tyre that works well on the road.

You would need new wheels for your MTB.

Well I eventually plumped for Vittoria Randonneur Pro in 32mm, they went slightly the other way and measured 30mm after inflation. So I have two tyres, both from the same company, both claiming to be 32mm, the Hyper when laid out flat is 8mm wider then the Randonnuer before fitting to the rim.

Still looking for the sweet spot, maximum width for my frame and tyres still being supple. So the next pair tried are the Specialized Roubaix 30/32. On the Pro-Lite Revo they come up as 33mm, the back fits in the frame ok, but the front width is ok but the tyre height is too much, there is only 1mm clearance. Putting the 32mm Randonnuer back on the front gives me about 5mm all round
