Will it work?
I want to run a clutch mech with sram 8 speed shifter & cassette on my DH bike, from what I can see if everything is 1:1 ratio it should work?
Thanks

The Zee mech isn't 1:1 ratio. It sort of works works with SRAM 9 speed but not 8.
If you're running a chain device a clutch doesn't give any benefits. A clutch and narrow wide ring isn't enough retention for downhill, you need a chain device.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
SRAM (7,8,9) isn't 1:1 either, actually works out at 1.1:1. Shimano 10 speed MTB is 1.2:1.
Very close, but there is a mod you can do to the Zee mech to slightly adjust the actuation by way of adding spacers or washers under the cable clamp. 6-7mm worth.
