A very good read, with some dry humour and some very nice insights into what I believe made him a great, and also some very obvious things around his flaws. not quite finished it yet, but its definitely a keeper.

anyone else had a read of it?

Not read it yet but did go to see him talk about the book. Well worth a listen.
Also he was on the BBC Hardtalk prog a few days back - google for the interview- some tough questions.

quite easy to deflect when you repeatedly say 'I don't look back' though

I'm going to 'an evening with' type event next week to see him, and I'll get the book then. :)

It's not really a phrase to use when you're promoting an autobiography.

ha ha - good point! On the Hardtalk though he took the AA approach of don't try to change what you can not

Got this on order, been looking forward to it for some time. On the one hand it's odd he waited so long to write one, but on the other it's probably the right time for it. We get all sorts of "autobiographies" from people who've had all of 4 minutes 23 seconds of fame.
2020 Reilly Spectre - raw titanium
2020 Merida Reacto Disc Ltd - black on black
    2015 CAAD8 105 - very green - stripped to turbo bike
    2018 Planet X Exocet 2 - grey

    The departed:

    2017 Cervelo R3 DI2 - sold
    Boardman CX Team - sold
    Cannondale Synapse - broken
    Cube Streamer - stolen
    Boardman Road Comp - stolen

Does he mention the time he met me?

(prob somewhere between yellow jersey and hour record importance)

Boardie once cycled past me whilst I was driving to work.

Yep..... whhhoooosh and he was gone. Soul destroying.

I'm nearly through this and agree it is a very good read.

I did find the almost complete avoidance of talking about doping odd. In the chapters talking about his road career he mentions losing to known dopers and being completely unable to keep in touch in the mountains. But any connection between his failings and others doping is left to the reader to infer.
