Hi,

I am buying an orbea orca and wanted some advice on sizing. I am 178cm (5'10'') with an inseam of 83cm (33in) with no shoes.

After entering these details into the orbea website it tells me that I need a 53 frame. I currently have a 54 specialised but this has a completely differenet bike geometry as it is 15 years old. I test rode the 53 orca last night and it felt really good but my LBS didn't have the 55 to compare to.

Calling any bikeradar peeps with the same measurements as me for some advice on 53 or 55 frame.

i m 6ft and the Orbea Orca in a 55 is perfect for me, my GF is 5ft 7 and finds the 51 is perfect for her, we hired Orcas in Majorca.
they are great handling bikes and if you say the 53 felt really good, decision is made :)

Thank you for your help. Size wise I am slap bang in the middle in height between you and your wife, so the 53 makes seems for me and it handled so well on the test ride. Just ordered the Orca M20i OMR and can't wait for delivery!

I am also 6' and have 55 and it's spot on, had a retul fit prior to buying which confirmed the size', so the 53 should be good for you. They're great bikes and you don't see lots of them around. Enjoy!

Thank you for the advice, I have just ordered the 53. Was pretty sure after the test ride that it was the right size but just wanted to ask around to be certain.
