I've got a feeling Steve Cummings will try something today
  • Bouhanni's helmet should have a glove on it - he will want one another today - Nacer hungry

If I am reading that right then the last km looks a little tech. All about where you are on the final roundabout - be an interesting battle to get there first.

By interesting I mean the final 90 secs will be be infinitely more so than the preceding few hours.

    A total no pace day.
60kms left and everyone is on holiday.
Kirby: Tommy Voeckler is carrying winter flab.
Yes, the guy who recently won the T de Yorkshire is overweight.

    Go on, Eddie.

15 replays and neither of the commentators notice the big gaps that opened with the GC guys.

    how?
  • joelsim

Because he sprinted at the end and came in with the lead group. Others 9 seconds back.

Froome does it regularly for this very reason.

Cheers. Pretty slack of the others. Imagine he had been 1-2s back on Contador and he'd let that one go....?

froome seems to have a knack of being up at the front on sprint stages and nicking a few second here and there.

He was doing a good impression of a weekend warrior to be fair, I was thinking he looked chunky just before Carlton made the comment.

After that I fell asleep again - that's two from two in the stages I've watched this week but I even missed the sprint this time!

Froome made the required effort, Contador and co didn't. Result: 9 seconds given away.
    Amateurs. :P

I see Bertie is complaining that the split was caused by a crash in the last 3km. Complaining that rules are not being applied properly. Made me titter, that did. Cough, cough hand slings cough.

God he's such a weaselly little creature.

They should give neutralise the times from today and then penalise him retrospectively for the blatant handsling and see how he likes being even further down.

Guys! Rules don't apply to Bertie! Gah!

The crash that involved only 2 riders!
Pathetic Bertie. You can't be arsed in the final 500m unlike your min rival. Reap what you didn't sow.

    Bertie, never stops does he?

commisaires gave him a favour yesterday, nobody complains, then today he blames a crash on him losing time when he obviously didn't, and has a go at the same commissaires!

Wasn't he next to Froome at the crash point? And dropped off about 1km after the crash?

He should have made contact with someone or something and done a footballer style dive. He'd have been OK then.

Ah, but you have to do that before you know there's a split.

It's track cycling where you can take a dive if you get a bad start like that German* did in the Olympics

Like Hand-Sling Bertie and The Lemoncellos?

Im sure the Son of God would appreciate any big-up from The Chosen One - even if it does involve genuflecting just after doing the pistol thing where he murders the on-lookers.

I think it was yesterday Bertie got a grip

On stage 3 Contador avoided 4 seconds but you can't be lazy every day.

Also didn't know Contador is whiny bitch, Schleck type.
