What route/race/club

On my commute in there are a number of road markings marking out what I presume is either a club ride or a sportive. The marks are "MF" and an arrow. The route looks pretty good as it goes over the downs from Shalford (Guildford) and then into London and then back again.

Anyone have an idea what they're for/who they 'belong' to?
Giant Defy Advanced 0 - Best
Planet X London Road - Wet
Montague Fit - Foldy thing that rarely gets used these days

    I would have thought the May Flyer Sportive - there are similar markings all over the place in the Surrey Hills, though it goes South away from London so who knows, maybe it's totally unrelated.
