Rotor Chain set installation query
Hi
I've installed a rotor PF4630 ceramic bottom bracket onto a PF30 frame - no issues, however, when looking at the technical support pdf it mentions the 2 x silicon seals that come with the BB but does not mention where or when they are used. I appreciate that sounds like an odd question and they should be placed onto the cups as an interface with the crank arms, but when you look further down the instructions, and also in the support instructions for the chain set, there is no mention of using these seals, just the 11.5mm and 0.5mm spacer.
Like I say I'm fairly sure these seals are used each side before the crank install, but can anyone clarify? I've emailed Rotor twice now and nothing back.
