Campy Centaur pedals - how to fix??

I fitted some Campy Centaur pedals about 2 years ago, which I bought secondhand, and have had no problems other than the occasional struggle to click in. However, recently I have noticed that they are getting more difficult to click out which is making me nervous. This culminated in falling off, fortunately at very low speed, as the left pedal would not click out. I have taken them off and taken them apart, cleaned them, re-greased them and put them back on. They are marginally better but still a bit difficult to unclick. The adjustment is set at the "slackest" setting so I can't see what else to do. Is it time for new pedals?? I need to sort this asap so any comments from folks experienced in Campy pedals would be very welcome. Thanks

Thanks for suggestion. Have had a good look and they seem fine, still loads of wear. I have now bitten the bullet and bought new pedals - Look Keo 2 Max - and will see how they do!!
