Will 11-32 cassette be okay with my RD and triple chainset?

I am planning to buy an 11-32 Tiagra 4700 10 speed cassette for my steel touring bike. It has a triple up front (50/39/30) and I've read that as my Rear Derailleur is a 105 Medium Cage GS-5701 it is only compatible with up to 30T cassette for a triple, but a double can go up to a 32T cassette.
As I would never intend going on to the 32T sprocket when on the big 50 chainring, am I right in thinking the cassette would definitely be okay with my set-up? Just wanted a second opinion before I buy the 11-32 cassette.

With a triple chainset I would choose a 28 or 26 as granny ring and leave the 12-28 or so in the back.

5701 capacity is 40t
with 11-32 and 50/39/30, you've got 20t on the front, plus 21t at the back, 41t, not much in it
as long as you have everything set up right (esp. b-tension and chain length) i'd think you'll be ok - it's not whether or not you intend to use the 50/32, if it happens by accident you need to be sure it doesn't cause a nasty surprise!my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -

I was originally going to replace my 12-27 with a 12-30 10 speed, but Tiagra only seem to do 11-32 or 11-34 at 10 speed as far as I could see.0 -
I've got exactly the same set up on one of my bikes. The others are all compacts either 10 or 11speed. The triple plus 11-32 is the smoothest to ride from a gearing point of view of the lot and the set up works very well.0

What does Shimano think at 11-32 , why give up useful cogs for an 11?0

I agree. Set your chain length on big front /big back just incase you do go into this combination. This may leave you with a dangly chain in small/ small but you will never intend using this and it is no problem if you do.0 -

SRAM do a 10 speed PG-1050 12-32T, the Shimano CS-4600 10sp 12-30T is discontinued, though a CS-HG500-10 12-28T is available.0
