Harming edge 25

Hi All

Think this is the right place if not could admin move it please

Ok so I've been looking at these Garmins as they are small and I'm not sure if I want to buy a all singing and dancing one , the Edge 25 has everything I want , so I've been watching YouTube videos , it all looks very simple but they do not tell you if you need a magnet or sensor on your bike

Do you just put the unit on your bike ?
