We all have bad habits of some description, but what about your bad riding habits or strange bike set ups.
I seem to remember back in the early 2000's a DH racer (might have been nico vouliez?!) rode with his bars at an angle(not straight!) with great results!
Some things work some don't, my bad habit is riding with my seat too high, i only tend to drop it down when doing the big descents at Afan for example. But it never holds me back, my other bad habit that i'm trying to get out of is leaning back too much on drops, which can get some interesting landings!!

Mine is riding stupid stuff blind. A habit which has put me in hospital more than once. I roll up to the start of a black or double black downhill trail with the intention of a steady first run but it just ends up flat out and messy.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I don't have any bad habits. I'm just crap. All the gear, no idea and loving the smell of jealousy in the morning.
