When will 2017 canyon models be out?

Looking at buying a canyon spectral but alot of them have been going on sale recently and a number of local bike shops have mentioned that they will probably be getting new models shortly. I was wondering if anyone knows when previous models where launched and more importantly when they are likely to put the 2017 canyons up for sale.
Cheers

If I recall it was around the September time that the new bikes started to arrive last year.0

I suspect they will keep building the 2016 until they have got rid of the order backlog, so about July 17 at a guess!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Release will be around September. Deliveries sometime in 2018 if they ever get passed the backlog they currently have.
If you want a German direct sales bike I'd go for either a YT, Rose or Radon. They'll actually get a bike to you in reasonable time and are equally good or better.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Backlog? it took 3 weeks for mine to arrive0

Next year they will be busy opening in the USA too, after this year debacle I would never ever buy a bike from them. And last it it took 3 days for my Spectral to be delivered but it was february.0

Yep. I read a load of posts from people who had a lot to say about long delivery times. many from people who'd neither owned or had ever ordered from Canyon.
I also read a lot of posts from people who, unfortunately, had ordered and had been messed around by Canyon.
I don't doubt that there are delivery issues but they seem to be with carbon framed bikes which i believe they buy in.
Bearing all this in mind and being in no rush for delivery as my old bike still works I thought I'd order something that showed as in stock (I also read that thats no guarantee either)
Maybe i did get lucky but if you order whats in stock (and don't post too much on here) you might get lucky too0 -

I don't doubt that there are delivery issues but they seem to be with carbon framed bikes which i believe they buy in. The frame type had nothing to do with it, the problem was absolutely clear and admitted by Canyon themselves in press releases - they took orders which they couldn't fulfill and a move to a bigger distribution centre and changing their software at the same time caused them a massive problem. Despite these well known issues, which they had apologised publicly for, they continued to take orders for bikes - some of which they could fulfill, a significant proportion of which they couldn't - they also lied, continuously, to customers. Plenty of evidence on these very forums.

I'll stick with products that I know are obtainable when I want them from companies that I have a degree of confidence actually give a toss, no matter how small, about me as a consumer of their products rather than one that chose to scam and lie to it's customers.Trail fun - Transition Bandit

I wouldn't buy from them while there is uncertainty and you can get just as good a deal elsewhere on equally good bikes from Rose, YT, Radon and Propain.
I'd certainly have a Rose Granite Chief over a Strive, the Rose frame is excellent and the builds are equally good value but with better choice on components and the options to customise.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Beg to differ, this year my GC HT frame cracked, 2 years old, swapped for upgraded model within 2 weeks, plus 120 for rebuild costs, which i did, also gave 2 set of clothing.
Based on that and ignoring the scare threads (80% of posts were from mates of mates or i read etc etc....) i bought a Aeroad from them, delivered on time, 2 youth road racers down here also bought canyons and got them with no issues too.
of course Canyon have had real issues but if anyone looks on foreign based forums, there doesnt seem to be the negativity there that Canyon UK get.0 -
They normally launch new models at Eurobike in August. Post them on the website in September, at which point they can be ordered.
The best forum for early info on 2017 models is probably the Canyon Forum on MTB News de website.0 -
I thought I'd wade in with my experiences with Canyon as all I see is Canyon bashing on here. May 2012: ordered a Nerve 7.0...came within 3 weeks. Some initial problems with Sram XO shifters which were sorted very quickly and efficiently.
Feb 2016: Ordered canyon Strive 8.0 CF. Arrived on my doorstep in 13 days. I have had friends who have had long waits though but I have always had excellent service. My best friend in Austria ordered a 6.0 Strive AL, had a longer waiting time than me but was delivered bang on the expected delivery date. It has been frustrating for many people but I hope that there problems are over with the new factory. Incidentally the Strive is an amazing bit of kit and so far no problems with the shapeshifter.0 -

Very good!! (Is a bit sad a 46 year old bloke talking about Taylor Swift, but hey I'm down with the kids!)0 -
46 is only young........I like listening to good music, I'm no 'fan' of anyone in particular but her music is good and the videos 'pleasant' ( ;-) )to watch!
Had a ride at the weekend where I was the eldest (by more than 10 years), we rode out as a group and had a social break, I had some work to do so we agreed to start as a group and drop off if we couldn't stick the pace, in 40 miles I opened 30 minutes on a 26 year old (he stuck with me for about 10 miles) and an hour on the two thirty somethings.....age is a state of mind!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
