Hi everyone
Is anyone based near Clapham Junction who has a cassette tool and chain whip they would let me briefly use please? I need to send off my wheels for a warranty replacement and need to remove the cassette before posting.
Thanks
Liam

Mate, you can get the whip and tool for about a tenner off Chain Reaction. At that price I wouldn't be wasting mine or anyone else's time finding someone to do it for you.0

Buy the tools.
You will need them sooner or later anyway. Unless you like paying someone else to do easy work of course. The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Anyone can make a chain whip at home in an emergency. You just need a piece of wood and an old length of chain. Bodging a cassette nut might be a bit trickier!
A basic chain whip and cassette nut should be part of your workshop in the same way a track pump and allen keys are. Bite the bullet, buy some at your LBS later today.0 -
All of the above. Apart from anything else, you will need them all over again when the wheel comes back and the cassette has to go back on.Cannondale Synapse Carbon Ultegra
