I want to put inline barrel adjusters somewhere along the brake cables on my cross bike, but the cables are under the bar tape, which doesn't leave much room of exposed cable, so was thinking of having them directly next to the cable pipe / noodle thingie. Is there any safety reason, etc, that I haven't thought of not to do this?

TRP brakes come with noodles with built-in adjusters, but as you already have the adjusters there's no reason why it wouldn't work, just make sure they don't stick-out or create more cable drag
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I used a Dia Compe Flexi Adjustable noodle on the front brake and Jagwire Mickey inline adjuster on my Tricross. If you need a Jagwire Mickey adjuster I'm pretty sure I've still got an odd one somewhere.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Thanks guys, I've ordered a couple of 5mm inline adjusters, so I'll see how I get on with them.
