As per title basically - is this a worthwhile 'upgrade'?
Has anyone run both these rims on the same or similar builds and can give some real world experiences of the difference in ride?
Any input appreciated.
Thanks

I've seen too many broken cheap carbon rims to trust them myself. I'd rather a good quality aluminium rim.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

I have the Superstar AM Carbon rims, excellent wheels! Been running them for a year and a half now and they're still as tight as the day they arrived. They replaced the original WTB SX23 rims and added a noticeable amount of precision the the steering/handling. I'm not the hardest rider in the world but at places like BPW (5 visits on the Carbons) they've shown no signs of flakiness. And they've taken lots of heavy crashes without the slightest sign of damage. They'd definitely be on the list if I were shopping for wheels again.
I'm running tubeless with a High Roller II on the front and an Ardent Race on the back.
Here they are...
